The Darkest Minds tells of a future where young people have developed special abilities, and Ruby, a young sixteen-year-old girl who has powers beyond what others believed to be possible.
Take a look at the trailer below:
In this new film adaptation of The Darkest Minds YA book series by Alexandra Bracken, Amandla Stenberg plays Ruby, a girl who decides to fight back against the oppressive government that held her captive in “rehabilitation camp.” On her journey, Ruby is joined by other resisters: Liam (Harris Dickinson), another teen with special abilities, and Cate (Mandy Moore) while being hunted by Lady Jane (Gwendolyn Christie).
